With the vision of empowering dreams and ensuring safety for all, this annual report captures the essence of Akshara’s work over the year 2015-16. Using storytelling and symbolic design, the project emphasizes themes such as en-gendering, mapping change, and fostering an egalitarian society.

I was tasked with designing a report that would not only present facts but also evoke a sense of connection, hope, and resilience. The visuals leaned heavily on elements of birds, nature, and trees, symbolizing growth and freedom. A blend of warm and cool colors was used to represent the organization’s dual focus on safety and brashness—the courage to challenge existing norms.

Each page included visually stirring symbols that echoed the essence of the content, from dreams being nurtured to the safe spaces cultivated for the youth and women. Although an annual report, this project transcended its format to become a narrative of empowerment, resilience, and hope—conveying the organization's profound impact through both content and art.
